Nestled deep within a serene forest, Tomuraushionsen Higashi Taisetsuso offers a unique getaway that beautifully blends luxury and value. The outdoor hot spring bath along the creek was a highlight, though on my visit, the weather kept me from enjoying it fully. Despite a language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful. They even assisted with our transportation from Shintoku Station, showcasing excellent customer service. Meals in the dining room were traditional and well-prepared—a lovely way to start and end the day. While there was no shower in our room, I found the public bath facilities to be satisfactory. The high-quality amenities combined with the remote tranquility make it a sensible choice for families looking to experience a touch of luxury without breaking the bank. I’d recommend this hotel for its unique experience and hospitality, especially if you’re mindful of budget.
